For sale your Choice of 2 (TWO) Vintage and Very Well Made STEEL Railroad Car Bumping Post Bump Stops including the Tracks section they were attached to. In the first 8 pictures are a HAYES (now Western Cullen Hayes) WD Rugged Steel Car Bumping Post Bump Stop. The other Post shown in the last 8 pictures is a Durable Manf. Steel Bumping Post - see cast iron stamp. Both stops are extremely well made as shown. These stops are for General Service, Long Industrial Tracks Outside of Buildings, Flat Switching Yards, etc. Both stops were included with land bought several years ago that had abandoned tracks on it and we think the tracks last were used over 50 years ago. The stops were buried except for the top 1' or so sticking out.
