The 2024 Bad Boy Renegade 61" Diesel is the flagship of the Bad Boy lineup, engineered for maximum torque and long-term durability in demanding commercial environments. It is powered by a 1.1L Perkins 3-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine that delivers 24.7 HP and approximately 70 ft-lbs of torque, providing the brute force needed for large acreage or thick, overgrown grass. This power is managed by a high-performance hydraulic system featuring dual 16cc Hydro-Gear pumps and 18ci Parker wheel motors, which allow for a top forward ground speed of 13 mph.
Constructed with a heavy-duty 1.5" x 3" all-steel welded frame, the Renegade features what is often cited as the heaviest-built deck in the industry: a 61-inch, 3-gauge (1/4") sloped-nose fabricated steel deck reinforced with 1/2" leading edges and 3/8" side reinforcements. For operator comfort during long shifts, it utilizes the patented EZ-Ride® GEN 2 3-link trailing arm rear suspension combined with independent front I-beam suspension to maintain consistent tire contact and stability on hillsides.
