    Description
New 2027 Peterbilt 567 with a 20 ft. Heritage steel smooth-side end dump built from AR-450, ready for construction dump work on and off the highway. Power comes from a PACCAR MX-13 rated at 510 HP and 1,850 lb-ft, paired with an Allison 4500 RDS automatic. Three Watson-Chalin self-steering pusher axles, a 46,000 lb. Dana Spicer rear with tandem diff locks, and an 85,000 lb. GVWR make it a true 6-axle hauler. It carries factory Peterbilt and PACCAR MX coverage. Call today to put it to work. Overview This new 2027 Peterbilt Model 567 conventional day cab is set up as a 6-axle end dump truck for construction dump service on and off the highway. It has a GVWR of 85,000 lbs. and a GCW of 85,000 lbs., with a 312" wheelbase and a 225.8" cab-to-axle measurement. The Heritage Truck Equipment 20 ft. steel smooth-side dump body is built from AR-450 steel. Upfit includes an electric Aero tarp and a full LED light and strobe package. Engine & Drivetrain The PACCAR MX-13 is rated at 510 HP at 1,600 RPM, with 1,850 lb-ft of torque at 1,000 RPM and a 2,200 RPM governed speed. It is a 2024 emissions, CARB-compliant engine with a 2026 engine model year. The powertrain is optimized for balance in service with frequent start-and-stop cycles. The engine has a PACCAR compression brake with MX retarder cruise control, and the engine brake controls are on the right-hand column. Engine monitoring protection is set to derate, and the engine idle shutdown timer is disabled. Supporting equipment includes a PACCAR 160-amp brushed alternator and a PACCAR premium starter. There are three PACCAR AGM 12V batteries rated at 2,775 CCA, a battery jumper terminal, and a low-voltage disconnect system. The engine also has an immersion-type 110–120V block heater and a 2-speed fan clutch built for frequent starts and stops. Air comes from a WABCO 37.4 CFM compressor. Other engine equipment includes a PACCAR extended-service fuel/water separator, a high-efficiency cooling system, dual self-cleaning under-hood pre-cleaners, and a firewall-mounted air cleaner. The exhaust is a dual SOC setup, with a left-hand SOC stack and the DPF/SCR mounted right-hand under the cab in a single module. It exits through a 7" chrome-plated steel standpipe, 36" tall, with a 45-degree cut curved tip and clear coat. There is a remote PTO/throttle 12-pin provision in the engine bay, and PTO mode control is at the cab station. The transmission is an Allison 4500 RDS-P Gen 6 Rugged Duty Series automatic in a 6-speed configuration. It has a TC-571 torque converter and a dash-mounted push-button shifter. It is set up with Allison neutral at stop and auto neutral when the parking brake is applied, and FuelSense is not selected. PTO control is through one dash-mounted, single-acting, electric-over-hydraulic control. Power reaches the rear through an SPL170 HD-XL driveline with 2 midship bearings and an SPL170 XL interaxle driveline. The rear axle ratio is 4.10. Chassis & Axles The frame uses 10-3/4" steel rails with 3/8" rail thickness and a full steel inner liner. The rails have zinc-coated anti-corrosion treatment. The frame has aluminum crossmembers, heavy-duty iron front spring brackets, and a square end of frame for a body builder–installed crossmember. Up front is a PACCAR FX-20 steer axle rated at 20,000 lbs., with a 4" drop and PACCAR FX wide track. The front axle is 104.6" wide. Steering is TRW THP60 dual-gear power steering with a frame-mounted reservoir and cooler. The front axle has PHP10 iron Preset+ hubs and air disc brakes. The rear is a Dana Spicer D46-172 tandem rated at 46,000 lbs. It has heavy-wall drive axles, driver-controlled diff locks on the tandem with speed interlock, and air disc brakes. The rear hubs are PHP10 iron Preset+. Three Watson-Chalin SL13 self-steering pusher axles are rated at 13,500 lbs. each, and each one has its own air tank. They are spaced 49", 95", and 144" from the centerline of the forward drive axle. The pusher axles store higher when lifted to maximize ground clearance. Lift axle regulators are frame-mounted, with switches and gauges in the dash. Engineering-assigned ratings are 18,740 lbs. on the front GAWR, 23,000 lbs. on the rear GAWR, and 85,000 lbs. GVWR. Braking and safety equipment includes a 6S6M ABS system, SBM valve, pneumatic park brake, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Synthetic lubricant is used in all axles. For air, the truck has dual Bendix AD-IS air dryers with an EverFlow switching module and coalescing filters. It uses aluminum painted air tanks with pull cords, nylon chassis hose, and a self-returning, dash-mounted brake hand valve. There are body connections 5' back of cab and a 7-way socket at the end of frame. Fuel is carried in a 26" aluminum 110-gallon fuel tank, left-hand under the cab. The tank is polished, with polished straps and a polished non-slip step. The DEF tank is a small 14-gallon heavy-duty unit mounted left-hand back of cab with a polished stainless cover. The truck has a deep, tapered, chromed steel bumper with 2 tow points and a heavy-duty external tow eye. Suspension The rear suspension is a Hendrickson HMX EX 460 HaulMaax rated at 46,000 lbs. It has a 54" axle spacing and a 70K creep rating. The front uses taper leaf springs rated at 20,000 lbs. with Tenneco shocks, greasable front spring pins, and 80 mm front spring spacer blocks. The cab rides on an air suspension. Cab & Interior The cab is a 115" BBC aluminum Vocational cab with a Metton hood. It has a stainless crown and grille and a tilt assist. It is a day cab with the Prestige interior in Sterling Gray and a thermal insulation package. The driver's seat is a Peterbilt LX premium-level high-back air ride seat in black Mordura, with left and right armrests. The passenger seat is a Peterbilt ST high-back, non-air seat in black Mordura with a left-hand armrest. The battery box is under the passenger seat. For the driver, the truck has a multi-function steering wheel with audio and cruise controls on a tilt/telescoping column. The main instrument panel is a 15" digital cluster. It displays engine oil temperature, transmission oil temperature, turbo boost, engine percent torque, air filter restriction, and brake application pressure. There are separate 52 mm backlit gauges for front and rear drive axle oil temperature, fuel filter restriction, and all 3 pusher axle pressures. Audio and communications include a ConcertClass AM/FM/WB radio with 3.5 aux input, a midlevel 4-speaker package, Bluetooth phone and audio, and a USB port. The radio mutes when the transmission is in reverse. There is also a Cobra 29 CB radio mounted in the center of the header, with an antenna on the left-hand cowl. The truck has global telematics hardware.
