Call today to put this unit to work. Overview This new 2027 Peterbilt Model 567 conventional is a quad-axle dump truck built for construction materials in on/off-highway construction dump service. It pairs a Heritage Steel Smooth Side end dump body with a 525 HP Cummins X15, an Allison 4500 RDS-P automatic and two self-steering pusher axles. GVWR is 85,000 lbs and GCW is 98,000 lbs. The day cab is finished in Gunmetal Axalta two-stage metallic/pearl paint over a black frame. Engine & Drivetrain Power comes from a Cummins X15 Prod Series with 2024 emissions (model year 2026 engine). It is rated at 525 HP at 1,900 RPM, governed at 2,000 RPM, with 1,850 lb-ft of torque at 1,000 RPM. The powertrain is optimized for balance in service with frequent start and stop cycles, and typical operating speed is 65 mph. Engine equipment includes a Jacobs compression brake with controls on the right-hand column, engine protection shutdown, a PACCAR premium starter, a PACCAR 160-amp brushed alternator, and a 110-120V immersion-type block heater. The truck also has a 37.4 CFM air compressor, a 2-speed fan clutch for frequent start/stops and a high-efficiency cooling system. Air intake is handled by dual self-cleaning under-hood pre-cleaners and a firewall-mounted air cleaner. Fuel filtration is a Davco 382 fuel/water separator with 12V heat, plus a fuel cooler. Exhaust is a dual SOC system with a left-hand SOC stack and a right-hand under-cab single-module DPF/SCR, finished with a 36-inch chrome clear-coated standpipe and a 45-degree cut curved tip. Idle shutdown is set to 5 minutes, and a remote 12-pin PTO/throttle provision is located in the engine bay. The electrical system has three PACCAR AGM 12V batteries (2,775 CCA), a battery jumper terminal under the hood, a Kissling 300A cab power disconnect switch and a low-voltage disconnect system. The transmission is an Allison 4500 RDS-P Gen 6 Rugged Duty Series in a 6-speed configuration with a TC-561 torque converter. It has a dash-mounted push-button shifter, neutral at stop, Package 223 and primary shift schedule 2. Drivelines are an SPL250 Lite HT main driveline with two midship bearings and an SPL170 XL interaxle driveline. A dash-mounted single-acting electric-over-hydraulic PTO control is included. Chassis & Axles The 289-inch wheelbase gives 198.9 inches cab-to-axle, 252.9 inches cab-to-end-of-frame and 90.1 inches front axle to back of cab. The frame uses 10-3/4-inch steel rails with 3/8-inch rail thickness and a full steel inner liner. It has zinc-coated anti-corrosion rails, aluminum crossmembers, heavy-duty iron front spring brackets and a square end of frame without crossmember. Up front is a PACCAR FX-20 wide-track steer axle rated at 20,000 lbs with a 4-inch drop and Sheppard HD94 dual-gear power steering. The steering reservoir is frame-mounted with a cooler. The rears are Dana Spicer D46-172 tandem drive axles rated at 46,000 lbs. They have heavy-wall housings, a 4.10 ratio, tandem diff locks with speed interlock and synthetic lubricant on all axles. Two Watson-Chalin SL13 self-steering pusher axles are rated at 13,500 lbs each and include two air tanks. They are spaced 49 inches and 98 inches from the centerline of the forward drive axle. Lift axle regulators are bracket-mounted on the frame, with switches and gauges in the dash, and lifted axles stow higher to maximize ground clearance. Engineering axle ratings are 18,740 lbs front, 11,020 lbs on each pusher and 23,000 lbs on each drive axle. Bendix ADB22X air disc brakes are fitted on the steer axle and the tandem drive axles, and the pusher axles use PHP10 aluminum Preset+ hubs with cast drums. Safety systems include Bendix ESP Electronic Stability Program with ATC, 6S6M anti-lock brakes, tire pressure monitoring, an SBM valve and a pneumatic park brake. The air system has dual Bendix AD-IS air dryers with an Everflow switching module and coalescing filters, polished aluminum air tanks mounted outside the frame rails and pull cords on all tanks. Other air equipment includes a self-returning dash-mounted brake hand valve plumbed to all service brakes, 5-foot body connections at the back of cab and a 7-way end-of-frame socket. Fuel is carried in a 26-inch polished aluminum 110-gallon tank under the cab on the left side, with a polished non-slip step and polished straps. A 14-gallon DEF tank is mounted at the left-hand back of cab with a polished stainless cover. The truck also has a polished aluminum space-saver battery box at the right-hand back of cab with side access, a polished deep-tapered aluminum bumper set forward and a heavy-duty external tow eye. Suspension The rear suspension is a Hendrickson HMX EX 460 HaulMaax rated at 46,000 lbs, with 54-inch axle spacing, a 70K creep rating and shock absorbers. The front suspension uses 20,000 lb taper-leaf springs with Tenneco shocks, greasable spring pins and 80 mm spacer blocks. The cab rides on air suspension. Cab & Interior The 121-inch BBC aluminum day cab has a Metton hood and a stainless crown and grille, and the hood has tilt assist. Outside, it has bright hood air intake bezels, 4.5-inch rubber fender lips, a stainless steel outside sunvisor, bright aero mirror housings with motorized, heated mirrors and integrated convex, and a passenger look-down mirror. Dual 23-inch roof-mounted round air horns, a removable bug screen and projector headlights with fender-mounted turn signals complete the exterior, along with five LED bullet marker lights and two bracket-mounted LED load lights. Inside is a Prestige interior in Sterling Gray with black Mordura seats. The driver's seat is a high-back, air-ride Peterbilt LX Premium with dual armrests. The passenger's seat is a high-back, non-adjustable Peterbilt ST with a left armrest and a toolbox underneath. The cab also has a tilt/telescope column, a multifunction steering wheel with audio and cruise controls, power locks and windows, a combination heater/AC, thermal insulation and dark window tint. Glass is a one-piece curved windshield with a fixed one-piece rear window. Audio and communication include a ConcertClass AM/FM/WB radio with 3.5 aux, four midlevel speakers, Bluetooth phone and audio, a USB port and a Uniden Bearcat 880 CB with weatherband mounted in the header. Instrumentation centers on a 15-inch digital cluster, with backlit gauges for both drive axle oil temperatures, fuel filter restriction, manifold pressure and both pusher axle pressures. The truck also has three additional dash switches, global telematics hardware, an NFPA-compliant exterior grab handle, a fire extinguisher and a 107 dB backup alarm. Body & Equipment The Heritage Steel Smooth Side end dump body measures 18 feet long and 99 inches wide. The 54-inch sides are 5/32-inch AR-450 with a formed 5/32-inch AR-450 top rail, a front post only, a 3/16-inch rear post and 2-inch by 8-inch sideboards on each side. The floor is 3/16-inch AR-450 with 3/16-inch formed longsills, no crossmembers and a formed bottom rail. The bulkhead is 5/32-inch AR-450 with a 12-inch full-width 10-gauge cab shield, which has a 6-inch face and a tarp deflector. The 60-inch tailgate is 3/16-inch AR-450, built in two panels with horizontal bracing only. It is overslung with an air-operated hi-lift, with cylinders in the rear post behind access panels, and it has air tailgate controls, chains and a salt lock on each side. The hydraulics use a pin-to-pin telescopic hoist, a hotshift PTO for the Allison automatic, a direct-mount pump with shifter valve and a feathering-valve air control. The system also has a pump kickout switch at the rear and an aluminum 35-gallon upright tank behind the cab. It is a 3-line system with shutoff valves, with PTO-engaged and body-up lights in the dash, and a control tower between the seats runs the body, strobes and tarp. Lighting includes an LED package, combo lights in the rear posts, marker lights in the front posts, two front strobes and a strobe in each rear post. Other equipment includes a pull-out ladder on the driver's side front panel, front inside steps, a shovel holder, an 8-inch bolt-on rear apron, a body prop, a backup alarm and an aluminum diamond plate deckplate. Front mud flaps are 30-inch Heritage flaps with anti-sail brackets, and rear flaps hang on straps with chains. Rear chassis lighting is round combo lights in a plate with an ID cluster on a hinge.
