The Model 12XPC falls in the middle of the three
12” capacity drum-style chippers offered
and starts out the line models equipped with
the proven slide box feed system.
A powerful dual feed wheel system generates abundant pulling power
to pull and compress material into the chipper. To assist with down
pressure, two adjustable side mounted spring can generate over 400
pounds of down pressure, reducing the need to trim or re-position
material.
A durable 24” diameter x 18 3/4” wide four-knife drum is standard with
the fabricated components backed by a 5-year “GUTS” warranty. This
efficient drum turns at a slower RPM, providing increased torque for
enhanced chipping capabilities. With four knives, there are more cuts
per revolution increasing efficiency.
To simplify the feeding process, a wide profile 30 ¾” high x 54” wide
infeed hopper with 30” fold down infeed pan is standard. The large
infeed provides a robust platform for feeding multiple stems or brushy
material at one time.
