Products

Fecon is best-known for its heavy-duty mulching heads. Its Bull Hog and Blackhawk attachments make short work of trees and brush. Fecon also manufactures FTX diesel-powered tractors and steel- and rubber-tracked carriers with appropriate mulching heads.

The company offers three rotor systems for different types of jobs. Its FGT drum rotor is a general-purpose example with bolt-on stub shafts. Fecon’s HDT paddle roller can get down into the dirt and handle vines and other stringy vegetation with ease. Finally, the firm’s Depth Control Rotor (DCR) includes rings between its cutting bits to keep the bite and particle size uniform. Strictly for aboveground use, DCR rotors conserve fuel and can do more with less horsepower.

Fecon also makes stump removal attachments, including the Stump Hog carbide wheel grinder and the Stumpex auger-style unit. For topsoil loosening and mixing, the company offers its Soil Hog forestry millers. Finally, the manufacturer’s line of forestry attachments includes deck mowers, grapples, log jaws, and tree shears.
