New Holland is one of the most recognizable names in the agricultural, construction, and forestry equipment segments. Founded in 1895, the company has more than 125 years of experience developing and manufacturing a wide variety of equipment, implements, attachments, and technologies sold around the world. New Holland’s Long History
Today, New Holland products are now used in dozens of countries worldwide, but the company’s origins were much humbler. The company began as a one-man repair shop founded by Abe Zimmerman in 1895 in New Holland, Pennsylvania. U.S. operations remain there, but New Holland’s global headquarters now reside in Turin, Italy. Over the decades, New Holland transitioned through several ownership changes, involving such companies as Sperry, Claeys, Ford, and Fiat before coming under the ownership of CNH Industrial. CNH also owns the Case IH and CASE Construction, STEYR, IVECO, and FPT Industrial equipment and engine brands.
