These trailers typically have a rear gate that doubles as a ramp for equipment and may have drop-down sidewalls for loading and unloading from multiple angles.

Landscape trailers often have a folding metal rear grate that acts as a ramp for loading and unloading and as a tailgate during transport to hold the cargo in place. The beds of these trailers are typically made of all metal or a metal frame with a wood plank floor.
